Hooker Harness STC Kit
The STC Kit can be installed without removing the wings, and without drilling holes through the outer skin. The system is installed through a hole in the headliner. The supplied reinforcing angle bracket is used as a drilling template. Installation time can be as little as sixty to ninety minutes with the headliner removed, or approximately three hours with the headliner in place.

Hooker Harness Aerobatic System
The Hooker Harness Aerobatic System harness system consists of a military style shoulder harness, dual military style seat belts, a crotch strap, a four piece pad set, and a stainless steel ratchet tightener. The shoulder harness can be made as a single anchor V or Y style harness, or a double anchor H style harness depending on the aircraft. The Aerobatic System is available in your choice of 1-3/4” webbing, as well as your choice of pad and trim colors.

Hooker Harness Quickie
The “Quickie” consists of a 2” V-type harness that has large loops on either end. It uses the rear seat belts of a four passenger aircraft to anchor the shoulder harness for the front seat occupants. The front seat belts are then threaded through the loops on the opposite end. The length adjustments are made with conventional adjusters. Basic positioning is done by adjusting the length of the rear seatbelts. The “Quickie” is available in your choice of any of our 2” colors.
The design philosophy for the “Quickie” is that most four place aircraft are generally flown with two people the majority of the time. The “Quickie” system should not be used with people in the rear seats, as this results in double loading of the rear seat belts, pulling the belts off of the pelvis of the rear passengers, and other undesirable things in the event of a crash.
There is also one other consideration to note. If the top of the front seat is below your shoulders, any load in the harness can compress your spine. Thus the “Quickie” could save your life by preventing head injuries (the most common cause of death in a crash) but leave you with spinal damage. This problem can be averted only if your seat back is high enough and strong enough. The best solution is a real shoulder harness, attached with proper geometry.

Hooker Harness 2” Commercial Systems
Mostly commonly found in general aviation aircraft are 2” commercial systems. These systems use a lift lid style buckle and can be manufactured in a variety of configurations. These systems can be manufactured as a 3, 4, or 5 point harness system. The shoulder harness can be made as a single anchor diagonal, V, or Y style harness, as well as a double anchor H style harness. The seat belt can be made with adjustment on both sides or just on the buckle side of the harness. All system types will accommodate a crotch strap (depending on aircraft type) except the diagonal style harness. All end fittings necessary for installation are included and come in a variety of styles. These commercial systems are available in your choice of our 2” colors.
The Hooker Harness STC Kit is a fixed anchor shoulder harness system that fits most strut-braced high wing Cessna aircraft. The STC Kit includes a double shoulder harness, a double adjustable seat belt, complete installation instructions, all necessary installation hardware, and requisite STC paperwork. The system is available in your choice of any of our 2” colors.

Hooker Harness Sport Set
The Hooker Harness Sport Set is used for those who are flying light aerobatics. The Hooker Harness Sport Set is a harness system consisting of a military style shoulder harness, a military style seat belt, a crotch strap, and a four-piece pad set. The shoulder harness can be made as a single anchor V or Y style harness, or a double anchor H style harness depending on the aircraft. The Sport Set is available in your choice of 1-3/4” webbing, as well as your choice of pad and trim colors.
The Hooker Harness Aerobatic System is the seat belt and shoulder harness system that Hooker Harness is respected and best known for. The Aerobatic System is for the serious competition pilot. Throughout the years competition pilots have been plagued with seat belt loosening problems. These problems are a direct result of using seat belt hardwire primarily designed for military use, and not aerobatics. The Aerobatic System uses a stainless steel ratchet tightener on one of the lap belts to remedy this problem.

Hooker Harness 3” Military Style Harness Systems
Most commonly found in Vintage Aircraft, Military Aircraft, and Crop Dusters are 3” Military Style seat belts and shoulder harnesses. The shoulder harness can be made as a single anchor V or Y style harness, or a double anchor H style harness. The shoulder harness and crotch strap is made of 1 3/4” webbing, and the seatbelt of this system is made of 3” webbing. For Crop Duster applications, the shoulder harness can be permanently attached to the seat belt. The 3” Military Style Harnesses are available in your choice of corresponding 1 3/4” and 3” webbing. Optional pad set for seat belt and shoulder harness is available.
If you are put off by the cost of a first-rate inertia-reel shoulder harness system, don’t be. There is a solution. Hooker Harness has designed a shoulder harness system that can be installed in nearly any four place factory aircraft. The system is called the “Quickie.” The “Quickie” is inexpensive and easy to install. This system can easily be moved from aircraft to aircraft which have no shoulder harness currently installed.
